Temperance






The ability to do something
doesn't necessitate that it
should be done.

Wanting something
is not the same as
needing something.

Being able to afford things
doesn't mean we need
to buy them.

Pushing past attraction
and attachment....
see beyond the immediate
and the compelling.

Long-term care for
self over short-term
acquiescence to every desire
and excess.

Moderation,
self-control,
and impulse control
are valuable assets,
and components of
tremendous character.

It's not always healthy
to 'have' everything
we want,
or that is available.

(Even though that's
usually never
what we want to hear.)
