Nobody's ever the same on the inside
as they pretend to be on the outside.
Once you get that reality
entrenched in your mind--
that everyone is floundering,
duplicitous,
fraudulent,
frightened,
a wounded child in an adult's body...
feigning superiority...
nothing can phase you.
